About Us

West Lake Aquatics is a locally owned fish store in Davenport, Iowa. We were hobbyists long before we opened a shop. In fact, this started in October of 2009 when we bought a house with a koi pond in the backyard. That koi pond led us to a breeding operation that took over a two car garage. Now we have a store with over 190 tanks. Check out our madness on Facebook using the link on the left. 

Additionally we started the Quad City Fish Swap in late 2016. A gathering of hobbyists in our backyard is now a regional phenomenon with buyers and sellers travelling hundreds of miles for fish! We LOVE THIS HOBBY!
